Pricing Adjustments

Our pricing is based on the legal services provided and may be subject to adjustments under specific circumstances. These include:

  • Changes in the scope of work
  • Additional services requested
  • Unforeseen complexities in the legal matters being handled

We reserve the right to adjust pricing accordingly. Any changes will be communicated in writing, typically via email, before additional charges are incurred.

Legal Basis: Under the Consumer Protection Act, 2012 (Section 36), businesses are permitted to adjust pricing in accordance with agreed terms, provided the client is informed and consents to the new charges.

Document Ownership

Documents created as part of our legal services remain the intellectual property of Crown Chambers International until full payment is made. This includes:

  • Drafts and consultation documents
  • Contracts and agreements
  • Any legal documents prepared as part of our services

Once payment is received in full, ownership is transferred to you, the client.

Legal Basis: According to Kenya’s Copyright Act (Cap. 130), intellectual property rights for original works belong to the creator until agreed-upon compensation is received.

Use of Documents: After full payment, you are entitled to use the documents as per the agreement. Any modifications, reproductions, or distributions must be authorized by Crown Chambers International.

Limitation of Liability

While we strive to provide the best possible legal services, Crown Chambers International shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to:

  • Loss of profits
  • Loss of data
  • Damage to reputation

Legal Basis: The Contract Law (Cap. 23) in Kenya allows businesses to limit liability within reasonable and lawful boundaries. This limitation ensures that both parties understand the scope of our liability.

We value your privacy and adhere to the Data Protection Act, 2019. Any personal or sensitive data provided to us will be:

  • Used strictly for the purpose of providing our legal services
  • Kept confidential and not disclosed to third parties without your explicit consent, unless required by law
